New Mexico Historic Preservation Division Ten Year Plan, Preserving the Enchantment, 2022-2031

From 2020 to 2021, Sunmount Consulting worked with New Mexico Historic Preservation Division staff to research, write, develop, design, and promote the state of New Mexico's ten year preservation plan. Read more about state preservation plans here. Read Preserving the Enchantment, 2022-2031 here

El Zaguán Permanent Exhibit - Historic Santa Fe Foundation 

From 2021-2022, Sunmount Consulting developed the content for a forthcoming permanent exhibit at the headquarters of the Historic Santa Fe Foundation, El Zaguán. The exhibit interprets the history of the structure for public visitors. It is a part of the El Zaguán capital campaign

Fort Stanton Cultural Landscape Report

Beginning in 2022, Sunmount Consulting has been working with an interdisciplinary team of architects from MRWM Landscape Architects and AOS Architects as well as New Mexico Historic Sites and New Mexico Historic Preservation Division in the creation of a Cultural Landscape Report for the historically significant and culturally important Fort Stanton. History of Barrio de Analco

Since 2021, Sunmount Consulting has been working with The Inn of the Five Graces to produce a sweeping history of the centuries-old neighborhood in which the luxury hotel is located. Founded in the early seventeenth century, the neighborhood has been home to unique communities, including Tlaxcalans and genízaros.

Wildfire Needs Assessment

Beginning in September 2022, Summount Consulting has been working in collaboration with the New Mexico Humanities Council to conduct a cultural needs assessment of counties in New Mexico affected by wildfires. These counties include Colfax, Lincoln, Mora, San Miguel, and Valencia.
